Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 13, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

Anapausis, Inc., doing business as “ana kate” (“Company,” “ana kate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of individuals who access or use our mobile application, our website at www.anakate.com, and related content, features, communications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). We recognize that information about menstrual cycles, fertility, ovulation, pregnancy, postpartum experiences, faith, and personal wellness can be highly sensitive. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, the measures we employ to protect it, and the choices and legal rights available to users. The Platform is designed primarily to support women through reproductive-health tracking, individualized predictions and analytics, educational resources, faith-based content, a moderated prayer board, and connections with independent healthcare and wellness practitioners. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Platform, communications with us, and service providers acting on our behalf. It does not govern independent practitioners or third-party services operating outside the Platform. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, separately available through our website, provides additional information concerning consumer health data and applicable state-law protections. Our Terms of Use are also available through our website and govern access to and use of the Platform. Where applicable law requires separate notice or affirmative consent to particular data processing, acceptance of our Terms of Use or acknowledgment of this Privacy Policy does not replace that requirement.

2. Important Health Information and HIPAA Notice

The Platform provides general educational, wellness, informational, and faith-based resources. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription services, emergency assistance, or individualized professional medical advice. Company generally does not operate the consumer Platform as a healthcare provider or business associate subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). However, information not regulated by HIPAA may be protected under other federal and state privacy, consumer-health-data, and data-security laws. We will handle sensitive reproductive-health information in accordance with applicable legal requirements regardless of whether HIPAA applies. If particular services or relationships become subject to HIPAA, we will provide or comply with any separately applicable notices, agreements, and requirements. Users should consult appropriately licensed healthcare professionals concerning medical decisions.

3. Eligibility, Teen Users, and Children's Privacy

The Platform is available to adults and, subject to the requirements below, eligible users between thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) years of age (“Teen Users”).

A. Adult Users. Individuals eighteen (18) years or older may register for an account, subject to the Terms of Use and applicable law.

B. Teen Users Ages 13–17. Teen Users may register and use the Platform only through the Company's age-appropriate registration and authorization process. The Company requires authorization from a parent or legal guardian for Teen Users, together with any additional consent or verification required by applicable law. To administer this process, we may collect limited age information, a parent or guardian's name and contact details, records of authorization, and other information reasonably necessary to verify and document the authorization. Teen Users receive the protections described in this Privacy Policy, including the protections applicable to sensitive reproductive-health information. Certain features may be restricted or subject to additional safeguards based on age, privacy, or safety considerations. A parent or guardian's authorization does not automatically provide unrestricted access to every reproductive-health entry or private communication of a Teen User. Any parental-access functionality will be separately disclosed and structured in accordance with applicable law, including laws protecting a minor's confidential health information.

C. Children Under 13. Children under thirteen (13) may not independently create or maintain accounts through the Platform. The Company may introduce a parent-managed account or dependent-profile feature in the future. Such a feature will not be made available to children under thirteen unless the Company has implemented the applicable requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), including appropriate direct parental notices, verifiable parental consent where required, data minimization, parental review and deletion rights, and other required protections. An adult's possession of an account does not independently authorize that adult to create a child profile or submit a child's sensitive information unless the Company has expressly enabled a compliant feature for that purpose.

D. Age and Authorization Enforcement. We may implement age-screening procedures, verify parental or guardian authorization, request additional documentation where appropriate, restrict certain features, or suspend accounts where eligibility or consent requirements are not satisfied. Parents or guardians with concerns about a minor's information may contact support@anakate.com. Requests will be evaluated under applicable law, including any protections afforded to minors concerning confidential health information.

4. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on the features you use. Not every category applies to every user.

4.1 Account and Profile Information. We may collect names, usernames, email addresses, telephone numbers, profile photographs, account credentials, authentication information, preferences, and information reasonably necessary to verify account eligibility. For Teen Users, this may include age-related information and limited parental or guardian information.

4.2 Reproductive-Health and Wellness Information. We may collect information voluntarily entered by users concerning menstrual-cycle dates and duration, symptoms, fertility observations, estimated or reported ovulation, pregnancy status, pregnancy-related milestones, postpartum experiences, and other reproductive-health or personal wellness observations supported by the Platform.

4.3 Predictions and Derived Information. We may generate estimated cycle dates, fertility windows, ovulation predictions, health-related trends, reminders, statistical summaries, and other personalized analytics based on information entered by users. These are estimates rather than definitive medical conclusions.

4.4 Geographic Information. We collect ZIP codes voluntarily provided by users to identify practitioners and services in their general geographic area. The Platform does not currently require access to precise GPS location services for this functionality. Limited approximate geographic information may also be inferred from technical information such as an IP address.

4.5 Prayer Board and Community Content. We may collect prayer requests, comments, communications, reports of inappropriate content, and other materials users voluntarily submit through faith-based or community features. The prayer board is visible to other Platform users and is moderated by the Company's team. Users should not submit sensitive information they do not intend to share with that audience.

4.6 Practitioner Directory Information. We may collect directory searches and interactions, together with information voluntarily submitted by practitioners, including contact information, professional qualifications, credentials, licenses, insurance information, professional descriptions, and subscription details.

4.7 Subscription and Transaction Information. Where paid services are offered, we may collect subscription selections, transaction dates, payment status, invoices, and related billing records. Third-party app stores or payment processors may collect and process payment details separately.

4.8 Device, Technical, and Usage Information. We may collect IP addresses, device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, authentication events, security logs, technical performance information, and limited information regarding interaction with Platform features. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or comparable advertising technologies to monitor users' reproductive-health activities or deliver targeted advertising.

4.9 Communications and Support Information. We may collect emails, support requests, feedback, complaints, correspondence, and records reasonably necessary to respond to users or operate the Platform.

4.10 Third-Party Health Integrations. The Company anticipates introducing integrations with services such as Oura and Apple Health. Those integrations are not presently active. When enabled, we may collect specific information users authorize those services to share, subject to the permissions, additional disclosures, and restrictions applicable to the integration.

5. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

(a) directly from users when they register, enter information, use tracking tools, post content, or contact us;

(b) automatically through technologies reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Platform;

(c) from parents or guardians when administering age-related permissions and authorizations;

(d) from independent practitioners seeking or maintaining directory listings; and

(e) from authorized third-party integrations if and when those features become available and users grant applicable permissions.

Our website and application may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies for authentication, security, essential functionality, and technical performance. We do not authorize third-party advertising technologies to collect identifiable reproductive-health records or private user communications for targeted advertising purposes.

6. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

(a) establish, authenticate, administer, and maintain accounts;

(b) provide reproductive-health tracking and display information entered by users;

(c) generate individualized estimates, predictions, calculations, trends, and educational resources;

(d) deliver requested reminders, notifications, and faith-based content;

(e) operate the prayer board and other community features, including content moderation and user-safety processes;

(f) facilitate directory searches and user-requested connections with independent practitioners;

(g) process subscriptions, payments, and practitioner-directory memberships;

(h) provide customer support and respond to requests;

(i) maintain security, investigate suspected misconduct, and enforce our Terms of Use;

(j) evaluate technical performance and improve the reliability and functionality of the Platform;

(k) comply with applicable legal obligations and valid legal process; and

(l) carry out other specifically disclosed purposes supported by required permissions or consent.

We limit the processing of sensitive health information to appropriate purposes and do not require consent to unrelated uses as a condition of accessing core functionality.

7. Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Training

The Platform uses software-based analytics and predictive calculations to provide individualized reproductive-health estimates and other informational results. At present, reproductive-health information entered by a user is used to generate or improve predictions for that particular user. The Company does not currently use individual users' identifiable reproductive-health records to train a generalized predictive model for all users. The Company also does not currently use outside artificial-intelligence providers to generate its reproductive-health predictions. We may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified information to evaluate overall technical performance, subject to applicable law and reasonable measures designed to prevent identification of individual users. The Company may evaluate more advanced predictive models or artificial-intelligence functionality in the future. Before implementing materially different uses of identifiable reproductive-health data, including generalized model training or providing such information to outside AI providers, we will update applicable disclosures and obtain any affirmative consent required by law. We do not treat general acceptance of the Terms of Use as unrestricted authorization to train outside models using identifiable sensitive health information.

8. How Information May Be Disclosed

We may disclose personal information only for the purposes described below and subject to applicable legal restrictions.

A. Service Providers. We may engage cloud-hosting providers, information-security vendors, technical contractors, authentication providers, payment processors, and other service providers acting on our behalf. Such providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes and under appropriate confidentiality, security, and contractual safeguards.

B. User-Directed Sharing. Information may be disclosed to other users when you affirmatively submit it to a shared feature, such as the prayer board. Information posted to the prayer board may be visible to other Platform users.

C. Independent Practitioners. Merely searching for or viewing a practitioner does not automatically disclose individual reproductive-health records to that practitioner. The Platform does not currently provide an automated feature allowing users to transfer their reproductive-health records to practitioners. If a user independently contacts a practitioner outside the Platform, information provided directly to that practitioner may be governed by the practitioner's own privacy policies and legal obligations.

D. Legal and Safety Requirements. We may disclose information where required by valid legal process, applicable law, or regulatory obligations, or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, threats, or legal claims. Sensitive health information remains subject to applicable legal protections.

E. Corporate Transactions. Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality, privacy, and consent requirements.

F. Consent or Authorization. We may disclose information for additional purposes at your direction or pursuant to valid authorization.

We do not sell identifiable reproductive-health information, disclose that information to data brokers, or use identifiable health records or private prayer communications for third-party targeted advertising. Where applicable consumer-health-data laws require separate consent to collection and sharing, we will obtain such consent separately unless a statutory exception applies.

9. Community Features and Sensitive Information

The Platform includes a moderated prayer board and may offer other community or communication features. Content submitted to the prayer board is intended to be visible to other Platform users. Although the Company may review, moderate, restrict, or remove content, moderation does not guarantee that inappropriate or sensitive material will never be posted or viewed before removal. Users should not disclose another person's private medical information or submit information they are not authorized to share. Teen Users and their parents or guardians should exercise particular care regarding public or shared communications. Certain features may be restricted for minors or subject to additional safeguards. Information copied or retained by recipients outside the Platform may not be fully recoverable after deletion from the Company's systems.

10. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, and loss. These safeguards may include encryption, authentication procedures, access controls, secure hosting, vendor oversight, logging, incident-response procedures, and other protections appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved. Access to personal information is intended to be limited to authorized individuals with a legitimate need to perform their responsibilities. No electronic system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@anakate.com. If a security incident occurs, the Company will assess applicable notification obligations, including the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule where applicable, and provide notifications required by law.

11. Retention and Account Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested features, operate the Platform, maintain account functionality, comply with applicable legal obligations, preserve security, resolve disputes, or satisfy legitimate recordkeeping needs. Information retained may vary by category and purpose. Reproductive-health entries ordinarily remain associated with an active account unless the user deletes them or requests applicable deletion. Users may initiate account deletion through the Delete Account function within the application's Settings menu. Users may also contact support@anakate.com regarding deletion or privacy requests. Following a valid deletion request, we will delete or appropriately de-identify associated personal information and reproductive-health records, subject to limited exceptions permitted or required by law. Where applicable, we will direct service providers to implement required deletion and address archived information and backups within legally permitted or mandated timeframes. Merely deactivating access to an account is not intended to satisfy applicable obligations to delete associated consumer health data. Certain records may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Messages or content independently retained by other users or outside practitioners may not be subject to our control.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to:

(a) request access to personal information;

(b) correct inaccurate information;

(c) request deletion of personal information;

(d) receive certain information in a portable format;

(e) withdraw consent to particular collection, use, or disclosure activities;

(f) obtain information concerning categories of recipients;

(g) limit or object to certain processing activities; and

(h) appeal the denial of a privacy request.

Users may submit requests through available Platform controls or by contacting support@anakate.com. Additional requirements for consumer health data are described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. We may verify identity or legal authority before processing requests, including requests submitted on behalf of minors. When a parent or guardian requests access to a Teen User's reproductive-health information, we will consider any applicable confidentiality protections and limitations on parental access. We will respond within applicable statutory deadlines and will not unlawfully discriminate against users for exercising their rights.

13. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Certain states provide additional rights under comprehensive consumer privacy or consumer-health-data laws.

Consumer Health Data. Washington, Nevada, and other jurisdictions may impose specific requirements relating to health-data collection, use, disclosure, consent, access, and deletion. Those requirements are addressed more specifically in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

California and Other State Privacy Laws. Where applicable, users may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain copies of certain personal information, or to limit particular uses of sensitive information.

The categories of information collected, sources, purposes, and recipients are described in this Policy. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will comply with applicable state-specific requirements and provide additional disclosures or rights mechanisms where legally required.

14. Communications and Notifications

The Platform may send email, text, push, or in-app communications concerning account administration, security, reminders, tracking features, subscriptions, and service updates. Depending on device settings, certain notifications could be visible to individuals with access to the user's device or communications account. Users should review notification settings accordingly. Marketing communications, if any, will be subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Users may opt out of marketing emails without necessarily disabling essential service or security communications.

15. Third-Party Applications and Future Integrations

The Platform may interact with independent application stores, payment processors, authentication providers, healthcare practitioners, and other third-party services. Those services may have separate terms and privacy policies when operating independently from the Company. The Company anticipates introducing integrations with Oura and Apple Health. Such integrations will be subject to applicable user permissions, third-party terms, and additional disclosures concerning the categories of health information imported. We will not activate new health-data integrations without implementing the permissions and legal disclosures applicable to the integration.

16. International Use

The Platform is intended primarily for use in the United States. If accessed from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where authorized providers operate, subject to applicable law. The Company does not represent that the Platform is appropriate or legally available in every jurisdiction.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy as the Platform evolves or legal requirements change. Updated versions will be posted through the Platform or website with a revised effective date. We will provide additional notice and obtain renewed authorization where required for material changes involving sensitive personal information. Posting a revised policy does not substitute for separate affirmative consent when applicable law requires that consent.
