ana kate was founded by Christian wife, mom of four, author and podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey. In January of 2025, Allie was speaking on a panel at a pro-life conference in Washington D.C. While on stage, the question suddenly hit her: “why isn’t there a cycle and pregnancy tracking option for women like me?”
Christian women can attest: most cycle and pregnancy tracking apps on the market today are neutral at best and hostile at worst. Allie wanted to create an alternative.
That same night, over sushi, she shared her idea with her husband, Timothy: a cycle tracking app for pro-life, Christian women—unashamed in defining a woman, loving babies, and offering biblical encouragement and community.
Almost immediately, Timothy texted a friend from church that he knew could help. From there, they connected with tech-savvy, like-minded people who helped bring ana kate to life. Much thought, prayer, creativity, and hard work have gone into the 22 months of creating this app, and Allie and Timothy are thrilled to finally share her with the world.

Why “ana kate”?
Two different kinds of rest, both necessary for the health of our bodies and soul. The prefix ana means up, and kata means down – the waves of a woman’s cycle.
Anapausis
Jesus invites us to come to Him and find rest for our souls (Matthew 11:28). This is the rest we lift our eyes toward—the peace of trusting Christ in every season, not striving alone.
Katapausis
Scripture speaks of a rest that remains for God’s people: ceasing from our own striving and the hope of being forever with Him (Hebrews 4). It is rest that reaches beyond this life.
ana
In Greek, the prefix ana means up—the rising phase of a woman’s cycle. It reflects renewal, growth, and the upward movement of life God designed in our bodies.
